Air India has recently upgraded its service on the Delhi-London route by introducing the state-of-the-art Airbus A350. This expansion is part of the airline’s broader strategy to enhance offerings to the US and other international destinations, aligning with the Vihaan.Ai initiative aimed at improving passenger experiences on long-haul flights.
The A350 features a modern three-class layout, including 28 private suites with full-flat beds in Business Class, 24 Premium Economy seats with extra legroom, and 264 seats in Economy. All passengers will enjoy the latest Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system, providing over 3,000 hours of content in 13 international languages and 8 Indian regional languages, along with a dedicated kids' section. Onboard Wi-Fi will also be available soon*.
Guests traveling in Business and Premium Economy will receive exclusive amenity kits designed by Ferragamo and TUMI, along with Air India’s new soft products—Vista Verve—featuring upgraded chinaware, tableware, glassware, and bedding. The diverse menu caters to both Indian and international tastes, served in exquisite chinaware with India-inspired designs for a luxurious dining experience.
Additionally, Air India is modernizing its legacy fleet, starting with the A320neo refit program, which will introduce a three-cabin configuration. This includes 8 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 132 comfortable Economy Class seats, all enhanced with new interiors, improved legroom, and modern amenities such as USB ports and portable electronic device holders.
To further elevate the travel experience, Air India is launching exclusive lounges at major international hubs, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, London, New York, and San Francisco. These premium lounges will offer guests a luxurious and comfortable space, ensuring a world-class journey from start to finish.
