Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Engages with Industry and Traders, Focuses on Central Government's Development Work
According to The Tribune, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat held a meeting with members of the industry and traders' community to provide them with an overview of the development initiatives undertaken by the Central government over the past nine years.
During the meeting, Sanjeev Vashisht, District BJP President, and former President of Mohali Industries Association, addressed the trading community and emphasized the need for initiating international flights to Europe or North America from Chandigarh's Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport. Vashisht, who played a crucial role in establishing the airport's first international flight to Dubai in 2016, urged the Union Minister to take proactive measures to facilitate such flights.
Shekhawat assured the attendees that he would discuss the matter with Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Vashisht expressed his optimism, stating that the Minister had pledged to prioritize the issue.
