Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national carrier, is set to boost its Paris services with double daily flights starting 15 January 2025. This expansion will see the iconic Airbus A380 return on 1 November 2024, followed by the introduction of the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the second daily flight from 15 January 2025.
The revamped flight schedule will feature Etihad's renowned three-class service—First, Business, and Economy—ensuring a premium experience for all passengers. This increased frequency highlights Etihad’s commitment to promoting tourism to Abu Dhabi, especially within the premium travel segment.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, commented: “Paris embodies elegance and sophistication, and we are excited to offer two daily flights that provide a premium travel experience. The return of the A380 to Paris, coupled with the addition of our three-class 787-9 Dreamliner, underscores our dedication to delivering exceptional service, connectivity, and convenience. This enhancement benefits both business and leisure travelers, offering seamless access to our expanding network across the GCC, Asia, and beyond.”
The two daily flights are strategically scheduled for morning and evening departures and arrivals, offering travelers greater flexibility. Morning arrivals in Paris allow for early hotel check-ins and extended exploration of the city's attractions, while evening arrivals cater to those transitioning smoothly from work or other commitments. Business travelers can benefit from full working days at both ends of their journey.
The Airbus A380 will feature Etihad’s most celebrated inflight amenities, including The Residence, the world’s only three-room suite in the sky, First Apartments, and Business Studios. Economy passengers will enjoy extra legroom and exemplary service. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will complement the A380 service, offering First, Business, and Economy Class cabins with cutting-edge features designed for comfort, productivity, and relaxation.
By adding these double daily flights, Etihad is strengthening the link between Abu Dhabi and Paris, enhancing connectivity to the GCC, Asia, and beyond. This increase in frequency reflects strong demand and further establishes Abu Dhabi as a key global travel hub.
De added, “This expansion reflects the growing demand for travel between Abu Dhabi and Paris and reinforces Abu Dhabi’s role as a major gateway to the world. Whether traveling for business, leisure, or cultural exploration, our double daily flights will ensure a seamless and enjoyable journey.”
With this service enhancement, Etihad Airways reaffirms its dedication to supporting Abu Dhabi’s economic growth and improving global connectivity.
