The second season of the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH)’s IMPACT Hospitality Conclave concluded successfully, bringing together industry leaders, academics, and students to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the hospitality sector.
Under the theme “Uncharted Territories: Navigating Disruption,” the two-day event at the ISH Campus in Gurugram explored the future of hospitality amid ongoing changes. The conclave served as a dynamic forum for experts, faculty, and students to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and identify strategies for fostering growth and innovation in the industry.
The conclave featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Kunal Vasudeva, Co-founder & Managing Director of ISH; Shobha Raghavan, CEO of Saahas Zero Waste; Chef Joe Manavalan, Co-Founder of Licious; and others. Their contributions enriched the dialogue on pressing challenges and potential innovative solutions within hospitality.
Kunal Vasudeva remarked, “At ISH, we aim to prepare our students to think beyond conventional boundaries and embrace the unexpected. This conclave was about fostering a mindset of adaptability, collaboration, and the courage to navigate uncharted territories.”
Dilip Puri, Founder and Executive Chairman of ISH, shared insights from his entrepreneurial journey, emphasizing the importance of resilience in the ever-changing hospitality landscape.
Notably, the IMPACT 2024 Conclave was entirely conceptualized and executed by ISH students, underscoring the institution’s commitment to experiential learning. This student-led initiative strengthened connections between academia, industry experts, and emerging professionals, reinforcing ISH’s mission to prepare students for the dynamic realities of the hospitality sector.
