The much awaited fashion extravaganza India Runway Week in association with Big Boy Toyz, Season 5 Winter/Festive Edition commenced at Talkatora Stadium. Each season of the much-awaited IRW introduce new talent and places young Indian designers firmly on the global fashion stage. This gives them excellent business opportunities from both bulk and retail buyers.
A complete combination of High Music, Dhol Beats, Fashionable collections and soothing lights all around kept the spirits high for the participants as well as the visitors. The Designers from various cities showcased their elegant and fashionable collection for the season. With 36 Designers, 14 Fashion shows, India Runway week celebrated fresh fashion by young talent and provided an opportunity to designers to share a big platform with senior established names from the Fashion fraternity.
The first day commenced with a Grand opening by Singer Mika Singh and Actor Darshan Kumar, ‘Royal Heritage Collection’ of Designer Himmat Singh. The event further taking forward with the other designs of the designers like Himmat Singh, Gauri Couture by Nikheil, Rivendra and Twinkle, Anupam Kumar, Hetal Shah, Neetu Singh, Akshay Wadhwa, Megha and Jigar, Aliahmed Shaikh.
The second day commenced with the actress Gauhar Khan who walked the ramp for Delhi-based jewellery designer Akassh K Aggarwal. After which other designers who showcase their designs are Rishi & soujit, Kanika and Sugandh, Bani Pasricha of FEDE by BANI, Divya Shah and Lipsa Jain’s D-tale, Ojasvita Mahendru, Pallavi A. Agarwal, Purvi – Aanal, Ankita & Akshita, Satomi, Nidhi Kejriwal.
The finale day, was no less as it had the collections from the industry professional Designers Manish Gupta and Shravan Kumar Ramaswamy. This day was followed by the designs of VERS-ATTIRE Ekta Goel, Kini Khimasia, Garima Sharma, Karan Sanger, Lotus Chakra, Collections of Designers Liz paul and Satya Mishra,Tanya Patni and Priyanka Shenoy. Mannara Chopra, walked the ramp for Designers , Tanya Patni.
