Go First, an airline company facing a crisis is aiming to recommence daily flights by the conclusion of June. According to a report, the carrier has submitted its revival plan to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). In response to operational issues, Go First canceled all flights until June 16, with a commitment to refund affected passengers. A tweet from Go First stated, "We regret to inform you that, due to operational reasons, all Go First flights scheduled until June 16, 2023, have been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these cancellations." Additionally, on June 8, Go First announced an extension of flight cancellations until June 12. The airline had initiated voluntary insolvency proceedings in early May, resulting in a halt of its operations.
Previously, the interim resolution professional of Go First had presented a revival plan of six months to the DGCA, indicating the airline's readiness to resume flight operations with 26 operational aircraft and 400 pilots employed.
"As you may be aware, the company has applied for immediate resolution and the revival of operations. We anticipate resuming bookings shortly. We appreciate your patience during this time."
