Founded in Hong Kong in 2003, Hutong is renowned for its contemporary and occasionally spicy Northern Chinese cuisine. As the first Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong to earn a Michelin star, and with numerous prestigious accolades, Hutong is set to make its much-anticipated debut in India at Shang Palace, the 39th location of its kind globally.
Hutong, celebrated for its dynamic Northern Chinese dishes and striking cityscapes, has earned acclaim as the first Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong to receive a Michelin star. With five global locations, including its Dubai venue, Hutong skillfully blends Shanghainese and Sichuan flavors. This collaboration at Shang Palace will highlight the best of Northern Chinese cuisine, combining Shang Palace's elegant setting with Hutong's inventive approach to traditional flavors.
Over these three exclusive days, guests will experience a sensory journey as Hutong’s culinary expertise transforms Shang Palace into a fine dining haven. The showcase will feature a fusion of Sichuan's bold spices and Beijing's sophisticated techniques, with Hutong offering a modern twist on classic recipes.

Guests can choose from an à la carte menu or a specially curated set menu, available for both lunch and dinner. The à la carte menu includes vibrant dishes such as Seared Scallops with Spicy Dongbei Salad and Black Diamond, featuring deep-fried charcoal tofu with black truffle sauce. Other highlights include soups, dim sum, seafood options like the signature Red Lantern (deep-fried spiced soft-shell crab), and delectable desserts like the Mala, a spicy chocolate mousse with sour plum sorbet. The menu caters to diverse dietary needs with gluten-free and vegan options.
Three meticulously crafted set menus offer an elevated dining experience. The signature non-vegetarian menu showcases Hutong’s culinary excellence, while the legacy non-vegetarian menu features a five-course selection of signature dishes. Vegetarians can enjoy the legacy vegetarian menu, presenting a harmonious selection of Hutong’s finest creations. Each menu provides a flavorful journey from delicate dim sums to bold mains and sweet desserts, with set menus starting at INR 10,000 plus taxes per person.
The beverage selection includes Hutong specials like Rose’s Secret, a passion fruit-infused gin cocktail, and Aurora, featuring cucumber-infused gin, lemongrass syrup, and apple juice.
