IndiGo, a popular airline, is set to launch two non-stop daily flights from Lucknow Airport to Abu Dhabi and Dubai starting July 12. With the addition of these flights, the average number of international flights at the airport will increase from 13 to 17 per day, according to a statement from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) officials. This move aims to enhance connectivity and provide more travel options for passengers.
The flight from Lucknow Airport to Abu Dhabi will depart daily at 18:20 hrs, while the return flight from Abu Dhabi to Lucknow will arrive at 03:25 hrs. Additionally, the flight from Lucknow to Dubai will depart at 13:30 hrs, with the Dubai to Lucknow flight arriving at 22:20 hrs.
In recent times, Lucknow Airport has witnessed positive developments, including the addition of three new airlines, namely Air Asia India, Akasa Air, and Thai Air Asia, which are now operating in the state capital. On average, the airport serves approximately 18,000 passengers daily across 120 flights. In the first quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal year, CCSIA recorded nearly 1.55 million passenger movements, reflecting the airport's steady growth and increasing passenger demand.
