Innovist, the parent company of D2C hair care brand Bare Anatomy and India’s first ceramide-based skincare brand Chemist at Play, has further expanded its portfolio with the launch of SunScoop, a sunscreen-only brand. SunScoop currently has 4 products in its range that Innovist will soon add more products to. The following are the existing sunscreen types SunScoop offers:
SunScoop Invisible sunscreen:
An ultra-thin, translucent gel that moisturises, protects, and gives your skin a gorgeous natural finish, the SunScoop Invisible sunscreen is a chemical sunscreen with an SPF of 40. Resistant to water and sweat, the sunscreen’s silicone-like texture makes it suitable as a foundation base for those who wear makeup. People with any skin type can use it for an undetectable finish that protects against UV rays and blue light. The SunScoop Invisible sunscreen is also safe for pregnant women and new mothers.
SunScoop Matte sunscreen:
With a creamy, almost marshmallow-like texture that applies smoothly to your skin, leaving it with a matte finish, the SunScoop Matte sunscreen is a broad spectrum PA+++ sunscreen that penetrates through the skin without leaving it oily/slick or with a white cast. With an SPF of 60, the matte sunscreen is suitable for all skin types and protects the skin from the harsh sun rays and even blue light emitted from our gadgets. The product is also safe for pregnant women and new mothers.
SunScoop Glow sunscreen:
A new hybrid sunscreen with 60 SPF, the SunScoop Glow sunscreen leaves no white cast and gives that golden hour glow-like finish. Enriched with Monoi Oil, Vitamin-E, Licorice Extract, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Octocrylene, and Avobenzone, the sunscreen keeps your skin protected and gives it a natural sheen.
SunScoop Fluid Sunscreen:
Another hybrid sunscreen with PA+++, the SunScoop Fluid sunscreen, is infused with Vitamin-E, Monoi Oil, Rosemary Extract, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, and Avobenzone. A water-based lightweight solution, the SPF 60 sunscreen doesn’t leave a white cast and is easily applicable. Just 12-14 drops of the SunScoop Fluid sunscreen applied on your face, neck, ears, and other exposed areas is enough to help you avoid early ageing, sunspots, and wrinkles.
Speaking on the launch, Rohit Chawla, Founder and CEO of Innovist, said, “We are excited to announce the launch of our new subsidiary brand SunScoop. Sunscreen is extremely underrated. Especially in a tropical country like ours, most of us are constantly exposed to the sun, which is also one of the reasons for early wrinkles and ageing. We wanted to create a brand specifically focused on protecting your skin from sun damage. That’s how SunScoop was born. Our products are clean, cruelty-free, and efficient. In fact, they are based on science, and our scientists swear by safety. We have already received an incredible response to SunScoop’s range, and we will be expanding it gradually.”
