The Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) 2024 kicked off on September 26 in Kochi, with a vibrant inaugural ceremony attended by foreign delegates and ethnic artists showcasing traditional performances. The event, which spans four days, aims to promote Kerala as a premier travel destination.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan honored recently-retired Chief Secretary Venu V, highlighting the significance of leadership in the tourism sector. Key figures in attendance included MLAs K.J. Maxi and K. Babu, MP Hibi Eden, KTM President Jose Pradeep, Tourism Minister P.A. Mohammed Riyas, Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal, Tourism Secretary K. Biju, Mayor Anilkumar M, and Ernakulam District Collector N.S.K. Umesh.
