Lufthansa has announced the launch of its Allegris First Class cabin, the flagship offering for long-haul routes, debuting on scheduled flights to Bengaluru on November 9 and Mumbai on November 15. This marks the first time the Allegris First Class will be in service, featuring two individual suites and a unique Suite Plus on the A350-900.
Initially, the new product will be introduced to Lufthansa's most loyal customers through invitations during a technical rollout phase. As more aircraft are outfitted with the new First Class, passengers will gradually be able to upgrade or book this exclusive experience.
The First Class Suite promises unparalleled comfort, allowing guests to adjust their nearly one-meter-wide seats for personalized heating or cooling. With ceiling-high walls, lockable doors, a spacious table, large screen, and wireless over-ear headphones, the suite sets a new benchmark for luxury. Additional features include a personal wardrobe for convenient storage and customizable lighting to create a relaxing atmosphere. The Suite Plus offers the unique option for travelers to share the space with a companion while enjoying maximum comfort.
Lufthansa has also been recognized for its innovative in-flight entertainment, winning the award for the world's best in-flight entertainment innovation 2024 from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). In partnership with Meta and MSM.Digital, the airline is exploring cutting-edge mixed reality technologies. On flights equipped with Allegris, Business Class Suite passengers can test state-of-the-art VR headsets, providing feedback on exclusive content, including immersive films, interactive games, and relaxing experiences.
