FICCI in association with Madhya Pradesh Tourism is organizing Madhya Pradesh Tourism Investors Meet on January 18 , 2019 at FICCI , Federation House , New Delhi , India .
The Government Of Madhya Pradesh has established The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board in order to take care of the private investment promotion in tourism sector as a single point contact agency for any investor interested in investing in tourism infrastructure development in Madhya Pradesh.
The Tourism Policy 2016 of Madhya Pradesh has been launched with an objective to facilitate investment promotion. As per policy a land bank of about 850 hectares have been created near significant tourism destinations all over the State. The lands are been offered at the base price of Rs. 5.00 to 10.00 lakh hectare through transparent online bidding process. The land is given for 90 years lease and could be mortgaged with Financial Institutions and Banks to avail loans. There is also a policy to allot heritage properties to private investors for 90 years lease to develop heritage hotels. These properties at a minimum reserved price of Rs. 1.00 lakh through online bidding process . Along with these a capital subsidy @ of 15% Rs. 10.00 crores is offered depending on the nature and size of the project to establish new tourism projects as hotel, resort, heritage hotel, star & deluxe hotel, wellness resort, adventure & sport etc. Apart from these a capital subsidy @ 40% is offered to establish ropeways in the State.
