The re-launch bears testimony to the grit of Impresario Handmade Restaurants which has recently completed 20 years in the industry.
Flanked by the Hauz Khas Lake, historic monuments that trace to the 13th century and the lush Deer Park, Hauz Khas Village is a hub for locals and tourists alike. The bustling streets and narrow walkways make the perfect escape from the city’s traffic. An area where fashion, food, bars and art come together in organized chaos, Hauz Khas Village has always been ahead of the curve.
At the nucleus of the area stands Hauz Khas SOCIAL, where people can have a relaxing meal, listen to upcoming artists or party into the night. The outpost also boasts the perfect balance of work and play, featuring a co-working space for creative independents and budding entrepreneurs. In fact, this was where Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehra, the founders of boAt set up shop and gave birth to their trailblazing brand. To pay homage to this Social Works success story, two new dishes, the Boat-e-Kebab and Boat-e-Chaap, have been added to the menu.
The core of Hauz Khas SOCIAL remains unchanged. The menu features classic eats packed with flavour and delightful cocktails with unique twists. It is the go-to spot for lazy lunches, casual catch-ups with friends or unforgettable nights. It continues to be a path-breaking urban hangout where like-minded artists, musicians, designers and independent thinkers can come together to bounce-off ideas, learn, grow and thrive. The minimal intervention and maximum upcycling theme has been maintained in the decor, which is 100% recycled and upcycled furniture juxtaposed with hard industrial elements. Some original art pieces can still be spotted on the unfinished bare walls but the vibe that engulfs the outpost is completely new.
