Additionally, Saudi Arabia has announced the forthcoming launch of several VFS Tasheer Visa offices by the end of May. These offices will serve as authorized visa partners for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, providing efficient and secure administrative visa services to applicants.
Recognizing the immense potential of India as a tourism source market, Saudi Arabia has strategically prioritized it as part of its tourism strategy. By 2030, India is expected to become Saudi Arabia's largest tourism source market. Notably, IndiGo has recently revealed plans to introduce a new airline route from Ahmedabad to Jeddah, commencing on August 11, 2023. This initiative is expected to further enhance tourism between the two countries.
Moreover, Saudi Arabia is eagerly unveiling VIA Riyadh on May 18, as part of its efforts to promote its leisure and entertainment offerings to a global audience. This highly anticipated event will highlight Saudi Arabia's latest luxury shopping and entertainment district, which includes the prestigious St. Regis hotel, 23 international brands, 17 restaurants, and seven cinemas. VIA Riyadh will be home to renowned international restaurants like Gymkhana, Ferdi, Bianca, and Les Deux Magots. This development aligns with Saudi Arabia's vision to diversify its economy through the growth of its entertainment sector, as outlined in the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.
In a bid to attract more visitors, Saudi Arabia has also introduced the Stopover Visa, enabling Indian passengers traveling with SAUDIA to enjoy up to 96 hours in the country and receive a complimentary hotel night.
