Hutong, which began in Hong Kong in 2003, is celebrated for its modern, sometimes spicy Northern Chinese cuisine. As the first Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong to earn a Michelin star and with numerous prestigious accolades, Hutong will make its highly anticipated debut in India at Shang Palace, marking its 39th global location.
Since its inception, Hutong has captivated diners with its bold Northern Chinese dishes and dramatic cityscapes. With five locations worldwide, including its gem in Dubai, Hutong blends Shanghainese and Sichuan flavors with exceptional finesse. This event at Shang Palace will showcase the finest of Northern Chinese cuisine, merging Hutong’s innovative take on traditional dishes with the sophisticated ambiance of Shang Palace.

Guests can indulge in a meticulously curated à la carte menu or opt for specially crafted set menus, available for lunch and dinner. The à la carte menu features vibrant dishes such as Seared Scallops with Spicy Dongbei Salad and Black Diamond, with options like deep-fried charcoal tofu with black truffle sauce. Other highlights include soups, dim sum, seafood dishes like the signature Red Lantern (deep-fried spiced soft-shell crab), and decadent desserts such as the Mala, a spicy chocolate mousse with sour plum sorbet. The menu accommodates various dietary needs with gluten-free and vegan choices.
Three distinct set menus offer an elevated dining experience: the signature non-vegetarian menu, the legacy non-vegetarian menu with a five-course selection, and the legacy vegetarian menu showcasing Hutong’s finest offerings. Each menu provides a flavorful exploration from delicate dim sums to bold main courses and exquisite desserts, with set menus starting at INR 10,000 plus taxes per person.
The beverage selection features Hutong specials like Rose’s Secret, a passion fruit-infused gin cocktail, and Aurora, with cucumber-infused gin, lemongrass syrup, and apple juice.
