The Lodhi, New Delhi, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anuj Nainta as its new Hotel Manager. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Nainta brings a rich background and a proven record of excellence to this esteemed position.
In his new role, Nainta will oversee the daily operations of the luxury hotel, managing a team of 380 skilled associates. His focus will be on enhancing guest satisfaction while upholding the hotel’s world-class standards, optimizing financial performance, and implementing innovative initiatives.

Nainta joins The Lodhi from the Taj Mahal and Towers Hotel in Mumbai, where he held the position of Director of Food & Beverage. In this role, he managed 367 associates and oversaw the operations of nine renowned restaurants and bars, as well as eleven state-of-the-art event venues. His strategic marketing efforts, supplier negotiations, and staff recruitment significantly contributed to the hotel’s success. Prior to this, Nainta served as Director of Food & Beverage at Barcelo Hotel Group in Dubai, where he played a crucial role in the pre-opening of Occidental Al Jaddaf and managed operations at Occidental Dubai Production City. His innovative strategies and focus on staff development were vital in driving business growth.
Nainta holds various certifications, including HACCP & ISO Standard Auditor and WSET qualifications in wine. Throughout his career, he has guided hotels to achieve notable accolades, such as the ‘Best Asian Restaurant’ award for Signature in the UAE at the 2013 Masala Awards and the Varli Global Culinary Awards in New York. Additionally, establishments under his leadership have received nominations for the ‘Best Newcomer’ category by Time Out and have been featured on prominent platforms like the ‘Foodshala’ television series from 2013 to 2018 and the ‘Cookbook Show’ by Zee TV in 2019.
