Patna Pirates are now on the top of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League table and are eagerly waiting for the Patna leg of the league which commences from Feb 16 - 19, 2016. The Pirates have won all the 5 matches they have played so far. They will be playing two more matches before they arrive in Patna.
The first match of the home stadium promises to be an enthralling one against Bengal Warriors who currently are number two in the league standings. The Pirates will play a total of 4 matches across 4 days in Patna against Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, Puneri Paltans and last years' champions U Mumba. It will be their second encounter against each of these teams.
Tickets to the matches are already on sale online on www.bookmyshow.com and also are available at the box office at the stadium. According the CEO Pawan Rana, seats are filling up very fast and he hopes to have a full house, especially because of the wonderful form that the team is in.
Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League has been a phenomenal success across the country with fans coming in large numbers in all locations. The Patna Pirates Kabaddi team is Bihar's first professional sports team. The Pirates have remained in the top four of the league during the previous two seasons and hope to make it to the top this season.
